Year One of Marriage

1 year in, and it exceeded every expectation. Why? My love for you grew so much this year to the point that i learned what it means to be able to give up all of your selfish needs as long as it makes the other person happy. for a spoiled little girl, trust me, i never thought this was something i would ever feel. Even things that didn't make me happy make me happy if they make you happy. Its really incredible. But more important is why do i feel like this? Its because of you. You have been so selfless, caring, loving, kind, that all i want to do is make you happy the same way you make me. And i think that's actually so beautiful. I love how we care for each other, and love each other so deeply. I know sometimes we bicker, but i can feel the love building so strongly that it makes me so happy. That all being said, you are truly my best friend, you have been my rock and my person, i have had the best year with you - i love waking up next to you every morning, i love falling asleep next to you, i love cooking for you so much that you go into a food coma, i love spending time with you and rotting on the couch for hours binge watching shows. Thank you for the best year of my entire life. I love you
